Ladan Hagbin
Ladan is the founder and owner of Mernda Myotherapy Clinic.
Ladan has a medical science background having studied at the University of Melbourne and RMIT University, and subsequently working as a Medical Scientist for 14 years. Laden’s own experience searching for a highly skilled remedial massage therapist to help her with ongoing headache, and neck and back tension as the result of sitting at a desk all day and work stress inspired her interest in the area.
She discovered it was rare to find a highly skilled massage therapist who naturally had the touch of healing hands as well as the scientific knowledge required to create a wonderful experience of healing, and rejuvenation. This inspired Ladan to put together her background in science and the gift of the natural touch of her healing hands to make a career change into the field of remedial massage therapy.
Ladan’s passion for remedial massage therapy has led her to complete a Certificate 4 in remedial massage at Sage Institute, followed by a Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Fitness & Bodywork, and an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at Melbourne Institute of Massage & Myotherapy. Ladan is currently studying a Bachelor of Myotherapy at Southern School of Natural Therapies which is part of Torrens University.
Ladan’s work as a Myotherapist encompasses numerous techniques including remedial massage, deep tissue massage, cupping, Trig P, stretches, PNF, MET, dry needling, Tens Machine, and exercises to correct posture and improve injuries.
Ladan is passionate about her work as a clinical Myotherapist and loves to help people heal and improve their musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
